The KA100 Junior category was introduced at the SuperNationals back in 2018, and that debut race was won by Australian James Wharton, who will race in Formula 2 next year. Since then, six different drivers have stood at the top of the podium on SuperSunday, leading to 2025 FIA Karting OK Junior World Champion Noah Baglin celebrating victory in his first SuperNationals start last year. Baglin has graduated to the Senior ranks, leading to an eighth different name to be etched into the KA100 Junior record books after this year’s Final.
Many of those from last year’s field have moved up the ranks with only 18 drivers from 2025 returning in the category. The top finisher from SuperNationals 28 is Travis Pettit (BJR / LN Kart), who was fourth. Pettit comes in among the top Junior drivers in the country, and he is set to make his final karting start in Vegas before moving to car racing in 2027. The New Jersey driver was second in the SKUSA Pro Tour standings behind Colton Schniegenberg, who is not on the list for SuperNationals, as he will be racing at WSK Final Cup program the week after. Ashton Woon (SCR / CS55) was third in the standings, Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart) was fourth and SKUSA Winter Series champion Nathan Golseth (SCR / CS55) was fifth. Those four drivers are all returning from 2025. Read full story on eKartingNews.com.
