Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge Sets 2025 Schedule

The 21st edition of the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is projected to be one of the best seasons in the last decade. The organization’s flagship regional program is set to contest six rounds of racing over the course of five weekends, featuring three premier facilities in the southwest region of the United States.

The 2025 Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is set to begin on February 28-March 2 at the new K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility opened its doors to SKUSA competition for the first time at the end of 2024, welcoming huge numbers over the two weekends of racing. The opening event of the new season will feature a double-round format, with Round One being contested on Saturday and Round Two on Sunday. Registration for the opening event of the 2025 SKUSA ProKart Challenge opens January 28 at 7pm PST.

A new addition to the list of tracks for the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is the Spring Mountain Karting facility. Part of the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, Nevada, the new karting circuit was constructed in 2024, opening to karters in October. A portion of the new circuit (North Course) features a replica of the famed Las Vegas Karting Center, which was the site of the first five editions of the SKUSA SuperNationals, to complement the full layout at 1.13 miles. The facility is roughly an hour away from the downtown Las Vegas area and airport.

2025 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour on the Horizon

Fresh off a record setting campaign in Florida, the Superkarts! USA organization is turning its focus on the 2025 SKUSA Pro Tour. Set for its 16th straight season, the championship will again be comprised of three events to crown this year’s title winners. The highest entry numbers ever at the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series could forecast a big year for the SKUSA Pro Tour.

The class structure for the 2025 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour remains unchanged, including the two Pro classes of Pro Shifter and Pro X30. The change from last year will be the return of Pro X30 to contest two rounds of racing each weekend alongside the Semi-Pro classes. Drivers competing in Pro X30 will also be allowed to compete in the KA100 Senior class, as there are no longer any restrictions placed on Senior drivers competing in both divisions on the same weekend. Pro Shifter will continue with one round per weekend, including qualifying, two heats on Saturday, and now with a Prefinal and Final on Sunday.

The largest prize package ever for the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour was introduced in 2024 and will continue for the upcoming 2025 season, reaching a total of $310,000. The Pro Shifter podium on Sunday each weekend totals $8,500 – with $5,000 to the winner. The top three in Pro X30 for all six main events in 2025 will be racing for $4,250 in total, with the winner earning $2,500 for each victory. The overall total for the 2025 weekend payout for the Pro categories is $51,000.
