The ProKart Challenge is set to return to the K1 Circuit for R4 of the 2025 championship program over the June 21-22 weekend The 2025 ProKart Challenge is set to begin the second half of the schedule, hosting Round Four of the championship program at the K1 Circuit on June 21-22. The new facility in Winchester, California will be site of the two-day event to continue the run toward the 2025 championships.Two events served host to the opening three rounds of the 2025 ProKart Challenge, with a double-round weekend at K1 Circuit during the first weekend of March before traveling to the new Spring Mountain Karting facility in Nevada in April for Round Three. The Round Four action at K1 Circuit will be on a different layout, featuring a revised ‘Pro Track’ that utilizes the D2 chicane and cut-through at turn eight. Official practice for the event begins on Saturday, June 21 with four rounds prior to qualifying to close out the day. Sunday, June 22 welcomes warm-up, Prefinal and Final to conclude the action for Round Four. Keagan Kaminski has a three-race win streak heading into K1 Circuit in the Formula Works KA100 Senior class. He leads the championship by 133 points over Shea Aldrich with two-time podium finisher Johnie Stamps in third. Two wins have Matthew Cagle at the top of the SuperSpeed Bearings KA100 Junior championship chase. Sebastian Hauser is in second, trailing by 79 points heading into the second half of the season, with Canadian Nathan Dupuis sitting third in the standings. Two drivers have won over the three rounds in Mike Manning Karting KA100 Master. Tim Meyer leads the championship with his two wins over Round One winner Logan Manus, while Damon Duckworth holds the third position. Luis Martinez has led the HRT Driver Development Mini Swift championship since the opening weekend. Two wins over the opening two rounds have him leading the title chase by 118 points over Nathan Ramirez. Round Three winner Andrew Janus is close in third, only 128 points back. Three different drivers have won over the first half of the season in the Sanner Racing Micro Swift class. Round Two winner Matthew Paciulli leads the standings by 94 points over season opener winner Aidan Go. Mason Brody has two podium results thus far, sitting third as Lyon McPhail sits fourth and Round Three winner Chase Riddering holds fifth. Multi-time series champion Billy Musgrave has continued winning a main event each season at the ProKart Challenge and leads the Precision Works Racing Engines Pro Shifter standings. Three straight podium results give him a 153-point advantage over Keawn Tandon heading into K1 while Anthony Freese is in third. The Mega Power Engines Master Shifter class has also seen three different winners over the first three rounds – Travis Irving, Slava Prikhodko, and Volodymyr Borodavchenko. The latter enters the fourth event as the championship leader, holding a 97-point advantage over Michael Guasch with Levi Bennett in third. Three sweeps over the first three rounds has Erik Doan leading the new Nash Motorsportz Junior Shifter division. Nathan Dupuis and JohnJohn McLellan sit second and third. Two wins has Troy Ferguson at the top of the Precision Karting Mini Shifter standings. The gap is 100 points back to Brandon Ng, sitting second in the standings with Sebastian de Moissac in third. Three wins puts Truly Adams in the championship lead for the P1 Engines Spec 125 class ahead of Dane Idelson and Jonathon Bischof. The FZ Master division has Jeff Krogstad at the top of the standings with two wins, leading by 210 points over DJ Jenkins and Round Three winner Tony Rossetti. Race Pre-Entry is currently open for Round Four of the ProKart Challenge at K1 Circuit until the online registration deadline of Tuesday, June 17 at 11:59pm PST. As always, a 2025 SKUSA membership is mandatory to register and compete. Complete race and venue information, along with a tentative weekend schedule, can be found at the PKC Event Page. Reserved pit spots are highly recommended prior to the pre-entry cutoff with more information to be found online. Camping is not permitted at the K1 Circuit facility. |
