The 21st season of the ProKart Challenge concluded this past October, completing the five events with six rounds of competition for the Superkarts! USA regional program. Eleven different class champions were crowned following the action at the K1 Circuit finale event.
The 2025 ProKart Challenge was a best five of six championship format, visiting three facilities over five weekends. K1 Circuit hosted the opening two rounds in the first weekend of March before traveling to the new Spring Mountain Karting Complex in April for its debut on the PKC schedule. The series returned to K1 Circuit in June for Round Four before making a trip north to Sonoma Raceway in late August – for the first time in Superkarts! USA history since 2017. K1 Circuit hosted the series finale in October, helping to decide this year’s ProKart Challenge champions.
Keagan Kaminski was able to win for a second straight year in the Formula Works KA100 Senior championship. The 2024 title came without a victory, while Kaminski won five straight to clinch the 2025 crown prior to the series finale. The advantage was 187 points, with four-time podium finisher Jackson Menchu ending up second in the standings. Round Six winner Shea Aldrich completed the season third in the championship.

The final day of action for the opening weekend to the 2026 Superkarts! USA Winter Series program was contested on Sunday at the Speedsportz Racing Park with the over 230 entries taking part in Round Two action. The New Caney, Texas facility saw colder weather to begin the day, but the skies were clear with sunshine, bringing up the temperature as the day went on for a picture perfect backdrop to the qualifying, Prefinal and Final action for the second day of racing. Nearly every category had a battle to the very end, including the Pro X30 main event where Pauly Massimino was able to put his Brandon Jarsocrak Racing LN Kart to the checkered flag first while TKG Birelart USA driver Gavin Bayliff won for a second time in three Pro Shifter main events here at Speedsportz.
The day in Kart CRG USA Pro X30 began with Senior rookie Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) carrying over the speed from Saturday to set fast time in qualifying with a 52.525, edging out teammate and SuperNationals 28 winner Gus Lawrence (RPG / Kosmic) by one thousandths of a second. Saturday top qualifier Blake Nash (Nash / EOS) was third with Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Kart) within a tenth as well. The 10-lap Prefinal was a solid battle with the top six swapping positions every lap. Lawrence was able to come away with the win over Massimino with Saturday winner Oliver Hodgson (Factory Karts) moving up to third over Vanchev. The top four of Lawrence, Massimino, Hodgson and Ayden Ingratta (REM / Kosmic) broke away from the field early on in the 20-lap Final. Their constant battle for the top spot allowed the second group to come in late, including a charging Nash who started back in 15th after contact in the Prefinal bent the front end of his machine. With Massimino leading, Nash took over the point on lap 17, only to have Massimino retake the position the following lap. Coming to the white flag, Nash took a run at Massimino on the inside of turn one. Massimino barely gave him room to hold the outside, and set up for the inside of turn two. It prevailed and the attempt for Nash, who kept it off Massimino to avoid contact, slipped backwards. This started the battle for second and allowed Massimino to inch away, taking the checkered flag for his first career SKUSA Winter Series victory. Hodgson came away with the second spot over Lawrence with Ingratta fourth and Vanchev fifth. Nash fell back from second to sixth on the final lap.

The 2026 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour is set to begin in one month, traveling to the Musselman Honda Circuit over the weekend of March 27-29 for the 2026 SKUSA WinterNationals. It will be the third trip to the Tucson, Arizona facility, marking the first time returning since it hosted the 2013 SKUSA SpringNationals. Registration opened on February 23 with over 100 pre-registered entries within the first 24 hours. As the organization prepares for the 17th season of the SKUSA Pro Tour, changes in regulations have been updated for the 2026 program.
Highlighting the changes for the 2026 SKUSA Pro Tour will be the removal of the pushback bumper system in Pro X30, X30 Junior and KA100 Master divisions. These categories have been selected by Superkarts! USA officials to not utilize the front nose cone mounting system that was implemented in SKUSA competition for all IAME categories in 2018. This will make five total categories competing without the pushback bumper, including Pro and Master Shifter.

The 2025 season concluded for the ProKart Challenge following the action on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility welcomed the Superkarts! USA regional program to close out its 21st season. A total of 161 entries battled around the 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ course for the sixth and final round of the 2025 championship.
The Formula Works KA100 Senior class featured a field of 41 drivers. Archer Eversman claimed his first top qualifier honor of the season, laying down a 1:03.510 lap. The session was so close, the top seven were within 72 thousandths, while the top 34 drivers were all within four tenths. Eversman led the first four laps of the Prefinal before Frankie Mossman took a turn – until Jake Drew advanced his way forward, taking the win. The 18-lap Final began with Drew leading the first lap before five-time race winner Keagan Kaminski worked his way up from qualifying outside the top 30 and into the lead by lap two. He led four laps before Drew returned back to the point. While Drew led, contact on lap 13 between Kaminski and Calvo took them out of the race, promoting Mossman and Shea Aldrich as the top challengers. Two laps later, Aldrich went from third to first. Leading the final two laps, Aldrich held on through the final corners to claim his first victory of the season. Jackson Menchu and Gavin McCune were able to slip by Mossman for second and third on the podium. Gerardo Peralta finished fifth for a best finish on the season.
