Team News: Evolution Karting
Monday, 01 December 2008 21:12
Evolution Karting completed its first year of competition with a strong showing at the 2008 SKUSA SuperNationals sponsored by the National Guard. The team travelled 2000 miles to compete in the most prestigious kart race in the United States and placed two drivers in the top ten in the final results. Jason Lee earned a 6th place finish on his SwedeTech powered Maxter CRG. Tim Hollowell finished 7th in the S-1 category on his Evolution Karting CRG.

Lee found out that qualifying is ultra important at the SuperNats as a flat tire in qualifying put him 24th on the grid for all 3 heats in the G-1 class. Undaunted and super aggressive on the starts as always, Jason moved up in every heat and improved his starting position to 14th for the final. With another strong start and aggressive overtaking Lee drove his SwedeTech CRG Maxter to a sixth place finish, one away from a podium in his first SuperNationals.   Read Full Story on EKN.
