With his eyes now set on Las Vegas and a chance to add another win to his record, two-time Stars of Karting Junior Intercontinental A (JICA) vice-champion Gustavo Menezes is closing in on the end of a long and busy season that saw him log thousands of air miles traveling around the world to compete in international karting. The 14-year old will now make the short journey from his California home to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the 12th annual National Guard Superkarts! USA SuperNationals, the biggest karting event in this country. A former winner at the race in the K3 (Cadet Shifter) category in 2003 and 2004, Menezes will look to add a third victory at the SuperNats to join names like Scott Speed and Michael Valiante near the top of the all-time winners list.
