Directions To The Track

You will want to enter Sierra Hwy from Avenue I, which is on the north end, heading south.
There will be no other access to the pits from Sierra or Lancaster Blvd. 

 

Pit Spot Reservations

Are highly encouraged, as this will be a PACKED event. You can view the pit map HERE, and then purchase your pit spots here. All spots will be either 10'x20's for $20 each or 10'x40's for $40 each, so you must purchase them in these increments. Please specify your top 3 choices for your pit spot location when you purchase them. All pit spot orders will be processed in order of receipt STARTING WITH THE PKC CLASS SPONSORS. Any necessary payment arrangements/adjustments will be made upon confirmation of your pit reservation. If you only need to park a trailer after unloading into your pit spot, the location will be at no charge and will be located at the back of the pits in a secure but out-of-the-way-spot.

Overnight Camping

Will be available for this event starting Friday, Sept 29th. The overnight camping fee (for trailers/toy haulers in the pits)is a flat $50 per camping vehicle – in addition to the cost of the pit spot taken up by the camping vehicle -- and can be reserved online up until Sept 25th at midnight - or paid at the track upon arrival. A limited number of dedicated RV Spots are available to reserve for $150 online. NOTE: these spots are primitive (no hookups) and not intended to be pit spots. Be sure to verify your reserved camping/RV spot with your SKUSA registration/pit spot representative prior to arrival, if pre-purchased. Please refer to the Current Pit Spot Map for available spaces then reserve your pit, RV and/or camping spots HERE. Be sure to list your top 3 choices for each spot. PKC will give you the first available spots of your choices provided.

Pit and Parking Rules

  • Pit move-in is on Friday, Sept. 29th from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday from 6:30am to 7:30am. Move-out will begin Sunday night (after final checkered flag) and must be complete by Monday morning (all vehicles/trailers must be off Sierra Hwy by 8am Monday morning).
  • Registration check-in is 10am to 6pm on Friday, Sept. 29th, and will resume at 6:30am on Saturday. 
  • There will be no passenger vehicles allowed in the pits for the race weekend, so please plan to park any cars or trucks outside of the pit area after move-in – will be directed on site by parking officials. 
  • PKC is prohibiting the use of all pit vehicles – motorized and non-motorized – at this event. Exceptions will be made ONLY for SKUSA staff, vendors, motor builders, and anyone with an authorized ‘handicapped’ vehicle placard. See Stan or Patti on site.
  • Dogs are allowed in the pits, but must be kept on a leash or in a trailer or camping vehicle at all times; please clean up after your pet. No pets allowed on grid or in tech. 
  • You may leave used tires and empty fuel cans on site in the designated recycling containers only, or you must take them home with you. DO NOT leave them in or near trash cans in the pits.
  • EVERYONE inside the pits must have a wristband from PKC and sign the necessary waiver -- no exceptions! See pricing below. FREE spectator areas will be located outside of the fenced-in pit area. 
  • No Alcohol in the Pits: This race event will include a city-wide festival, with food and drink vendors located throughout the area surrounding the track. However, due to insurance restrictions, open containers of alcohol are NOT allowed in the pits, tech or grid areas while karts are moving on track. 
  • All pits require a fire extinguisher per SKUSA rule 10.4.1.3.1.  A 2A10BC is the type required.  Lancaster fire department has put us on notice that every pit will be inspected to verify compliance.

Air Boxes

For all motos, the silencer is open spec and air boxes are not required at this event.

Spectator Tickets

1-day and all-weekend spectator passes are available for puchase directly from this website, or at skusa.eventbrite.com. These passes include pit access, thus enriching the spectator experience through up close contact with the drivers and crew. Prices are $15 for a 1-day pass and $25 for the entire weekend event (up to 3 days). Kids 5 and under are FREE, but everyone must sign an insurance waiver and wear the applicable wristband throughout the event while in the pits.
