California ProKart Challenge

Round 3 - March 28-29, 2014 – Adams Kart Track

RACE ENTRY

Race pre-entries may be submitted at a special “packaged-price” discount through the ProKart Challenge ONLINE store. Our web-challenged friends may use our DOWNLOADABLE entry form.  If you have any questions, email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   or call 951-491-0808 for assistance.  NOTE: If this is your first transaction through the online store, you have the option of clicking on the “Create New Account” link when prompted and complete the forms presented.  Then, for subsequent transactions, just enter the login ID and password you created to retrieve your stored entry profile.  SPECIAL NOTE: Login ID and password cannot contain blank spaces.

Pre-Entry – Enter Before the Cut-Off and Save!
The definition of a “PRE-ENTRY” is an entry received, with payment, at the ProKart Challenge office before midnight on the Wednesday prior to the event, and will qualify for the pre-entry pricing. Entries after this cut-off will have to be submitted at the event (starting Friday morning) at walk-up pricing. See pricing below. All race pre-entries will be confirmed via email within 2 business days of receipt at the PKC/SKUSA home office. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 48 hours, please call 951-491-0808 to confirm that your entry has been received and is in process.

Pre-Entry closes at Midnight on Wed, March 26th.  Anyone wanting to register for the race or Friday's practice after that time will have to sign-up at the track on Friday starting at 7:00am or Saturday starting at 6:30am. 



Entry Fees
(NOTE: see Online store for special $310 pricing for entry+tires combo.) 

ALL CLASSES (active SKUSA membership required for race days):
  • $60 Practice Day
  • $115 Pre-Entry Race Fees for 1st Class - $75 for 2nd Class
  • $150 Post-Entry / At Track Race Fees for 1st Class - $75 for 2nd Class
  • $20 Transponder Rental ( If you don't have your own )
  • $222+tax per set MG-SK practice or race tires (for all classes except TaG Cadet). These tires may be re-used from event to event. TaG Cadet practice or race tires (MG-HZ) are $211+tax. All tires can be picked up at the track or shipped ahead of time for $10 Shipping and Handling (within CA) or $15 (outside CA).
    Note: Race Tires MUST have the special PKC stamp to pass tech.
  • $65.50+tax for a 5gal can of VP MS98
  • $18+tax for 1L Oil Motul 2T Grand Prix
  • Special COMBO price of $77+tax for 1 MS98 fuel + 1 L Motul Oil
  • $75 SKUSA Annual Membership (must be current member)
  • NOTE: THERE IS NO CHARGE THIS EVENT for Pit Spots or Overnight Camping (Friday night only)
  • No reserved pit spots – all spaces are first come-first served, starting Friday at approx. 6:30am (this track has a late event on Thursday evening)
Driver Age

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) at the time of submittal of your first SKUSA membership/licensing application or first SKUSA race entry.  Be sure to check the Classes section of this site or sections 15.3 and 20.1.2 of the 2014 SKUSA Rulebook for minimum age requirements of each class.

Adams Motorsports Park is located in Riverside, California, just north of the 60 Fwy on Market Street, at the corner of 24th and Market. This venue is conveniently located only 45 minutes away from downtown Los Angeles and only 20 minutes away from the Ontario International Airport.

Overnight Parking and Camping
PKC has arranged for overnight parking of trailers, as well as overnight camping on site, at NO CHARGE starting Friday morning, March 28th at approx 6:30am. Pit spots and camping spots will be available on a first come-first served basis (NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED/AVAILABLE). This track has a late event on Thursday evening, so parking inside the gates will not be available until Friday morning. Sponsors that are in line to park Friday morning will be allowed access first.

Pit Vehicles
Although PKC prefers to disallow the use of motorized vehicles in order to avoid unnecessary accidents in the pits, this facility does allow motorized vehicles on their premises. However, PKC reserves the right to confiscate any vehicles, motorized or otherwise, that are being unsafely used anywhere on the kart track premises.

Pets On Premises
Dogs are allowed on the kart track premises, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet.

Air Boxes for Honda Engines
The silencer is open spec and air boxes are optional at this event. All other classes (S5 and TaG) require them as part of the Technical Specifications.

Spectator Tickets
1 and 2 day pit passes are available through the online store and at the track throughout each event. These passes include pit access, thus enriching the spectator experience through up close contact with the drivers and crew. Prices are $15 for a 1-day pass and $20 for a 2-day pass. Kids 5 and under are FREE, but everyone must sign an insurance waiver. There is also a no-cost spectator area at this track, which is outside of the pit area.

Pit Space Rules
  • All pit spaces are unreserved, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Pit space move-in will start on Friday morning at 6:30am.
  • Overnight camping will be allowed for this event at no charge, although RVs may be directed to a designated parking area outside of the pits upon arrival.
