2021 NOLA Pit Spot Reservations

Reserving Your Pit Spot

As always, the toughest part for the SKUSA staff in organizing large events each year is laying out and fitting everyone into the pits!

This year is no different, as the 2021 WinterNationals event returns to the popular NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana.

ALL RACERS or TEAM OWNERS can do their part now by reserving the space they will need (as well as encouraging all drivers to get pre-registered for the event - before their classes cap out at 44)!

If you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit spot, please email - a complete PDF drawing (no photos please) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Emailed pit requests will be replied to with a confirmation upon receipt.

The price of all pit spots are as follows:
  • $.50/SF for spaces 1-49 (tent staking allowed in spots 3-15 only)
  • $.40/SF for spaces 50-109
  • $.30/SF for spaces 110-220
  • $150 per space for RV's (no hookups)
  • $50 to Camp in your Toy Hauler/Trailer. PLUS the pit space cost.
The above prices are for you stay on site for the week of WinterNationals only (3/23 thru 3/28). Pricing for pit and RV spaces for the Texas Sprint Racing Series 3/17 to 3/21 are available on their website and will be collected directly from them. You are still required to submit a complete pit request form to each of us to assure your space is reserved. Please contact Texas Sprint Racing Series for additional information. www.texassprintseries.com

However:

For those who choose to attend the Texas Sprint Racing Series event race the weekend before, SKUSA will work with TSRS to do their best to assure you have the same space for both events. Obviously, this requires you to submit your pit requests early, and in writing, in order to be accommodated. Pit requests received after 3/6 will not be able to reserve a space for both events and will be expected to move to a designated staging area for pitting at the conclusion of the event on 3/21. NO EXCEPTIONS!

NOTE: As Always, the event & class sponsors will receive priority pit spot placement, so be sure to note on your pit request if you are a sponsor, or if you'd like information on becoming one. An emailed request for sponsorship information can also be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Superkarts! USA and Texas Sprint Racing Series will do everything possible to assure that you can retain your space for your entire stay of both events. However, there are NO GUARANTEES.

The paddock area will be rows of pit spots 12’W x 60’D and 12’’W x 40’D, so your drawing should reflect multiples of these areas. Please also specify your top 3 choices for the pit spot locations you prefer (i.e., 23-27, 133-136, etc), based on the pit map posted below. We will do our best to accommodate you.

2021 WinterNats Pit Map

Updated: 2/19/2021

Here are THE ITEMS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR PIT REQUEST DRAWING:
  • Please tell us if you are reserving for one or both events. If just one, which one?
  • Full layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. You will probably NOT be able to add space when you arrive.
  • Include space for trailer tongue, pull out generators and trailer doors (side and rear). Allow room to get the karts or other materials in and out of the doors.
  • Assume that three sides of your pit spot are fixed positions with no access. Show us how you plan on entering and exiting your pit space with your kart(s) – in relation to the pit runners shown on the map.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers, E-Z ups, VIP area, etc. NOTE: Toy Haulers will be allowed in the pits; however, if you are camping in it, a $50 camping fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the pit space. All other campers/RV’s will need to be parked in the designated RV area – NO Exceptions! See below for more info about overnight camping.
  • Tell us whether or not you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both (with notes on your drawing). See below for vendor info. Please note: your pit spot must accommodate an extra 5’ feet around your tent for the stakes.
NOTE: a 20x20’ tent does not fit in a 20x20’ space, allow room for the way you will secure it. There is Absolutely NO Staking of tents (other than pit spaces 1-15). NOLA Motorsports Pro Shop can also rent blocks to tie down your tents. Please keep in mind, these blocks are approximately 3'x3' square. These blocks must set on YOUR pit space and not in the aisles or fire lanes. Please plan accordingly.

Include a team name and a list of the drivers that will be pitting in the spot. NOTE: Please send your pit map when it is absolutely final. All drivers MUST be registered for the race before SKUSA / TSRS will confirm your pit spot location. In the event that there are multiple teams in one pit area, a designated team manager/ representative must be named as the person responsible for tent and trailer placement. We will NOT park teams on site unless and until ALL trailers are present -- or unless the team manager is present (this is the only exception).
  • Teams that want to guarantee they are pitted next to or near each other MUST submit their pit request as ONE COMPLETE REQUEST to SKUSA/TSRS all together with a specific note on each section of the drawing, initialed by person submitting the request telling us that preference. NOTE: Following this process will allow us to achieve this goal, but may reduce the ability to fulfill specific locations due to size. If this is being requested by a sponsor, the sponsor must submit the request and be responsible for the entire pit invoice. We will do our best to accommodate.
  • Include on BOTH your drawing and the email message your contact name and best daytime contact info -- phone and email address (mobile number, PLEASE! Not just shop number).
  • Please add a note to your pit request with your arrival date.
  • NOTE: NO passenger vehicles will be allowed in the pits, so please do not include them in your layout. Pit space is at a premium!
We will be in touch within 24-48 hours of your emailed request to confirm that each pit spot reservation submitted has been received. Then we will contact you and secure payment with you when we have you placed on the pit map.
