2024 Orlando Pit Spot Reservations

Reserving Your Pit Spot

As always, the toughest part for the SKUSA staff in organizing large events each year is laying out and fitting everyone into the pits!

This year is no different, as the 2024 WinterNationals event debuts at the popular Orlando Karting Center in Orlando, FL.

ALL RACERS or TEAM OWNERS can do their part now by reserving the space they will need (as well as encouraging all drivers to get pre-registered for the event - before their classes cap out at 44)!

Due to the large amount of racers expected, the 300SF-per-driver rule will apply. Racers and Teams will be limited to a maximum of 300 square feet per entry. Pit requests must include a list of pre-registered drivers to be considered complete.

If you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit spot, please email - a complete PDF drawing (no photos please) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Emailed pit requests will be replied to with a confirmation upon receipt.

The price of all pit and RV spots are as follows:
  • $.50/SF for spaces in Row A 1-41,  B 105-124, C 205-224 D 305-316 & Row E 405-416
  • $.35/SF for all other spaces
  • $100 for inside grid paddock spaces (15’x8’). Limited space available, does not include trailer storage
  • $300 per space for RV’s (no hookups in paddock)
  • $100 to Camp in your Toy Hauler/Trailer—PLUS the pit space cost.
The above prices are for you stay on site for the week of WinterNationals only (3/5 thru 3/10).

NOTE: As Always, the event & class sponsors will receive priority pit spot placement, so be sure to note on your pit request if you are a sponsor, or if you'd like information on becoming one. An emailed request for sponsorship information can also be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Superkarts! USA and ROK Cup USA will do everything possible to assure that you can retain your same location for your entire stay of both events. However, there are NO GUARANTEES.

The paddock area will be rows of pit spots 10’W x 40’D, so your drawing should reflect multiples of these areas. Please also specify your top 3 choices for the pit spot locations you prefer (i.e. A 23-27, E- 417-420, etc), based on the pit map posted below. We will do our best to accommodate you.

2024 WinterNats Pit Map

Updated: 3/2/2024

Here are THE ITEMS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR EMAILED PIT REQUEST/DRAWING:
  • Please tell us if you are staying on for the ROK Cup USA event.
  • Full layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. Remember the 300SF rule! You will probably NOT be able to add space when you arrive.
  • Include space for trailer tongue, pull out generators and trailer doors (side and rear). Allow room to get the karts or other materials in and out of the doors.
  • Assume that three sides of your pit spot are fixed positions with no access. Show us how you plan on entering and exiting your pit space with your kart(s) – in relation to the pit runners shown on the map.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers, E-Z ups, VIP area, etc. NOTE: Toy Haulers will be allowed in the pits; however, if you are camping in it, a $100 camping fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the pit space. All other campers/RV’s will need to be parked in the designated RV area – NO Exceptions! See below for more info about overnight camping.
  • Tell us whether or not you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both (with notes on your drawing). See below for vendor info. Please note: your pit spot must accommodate an extra 5’ feet around your tent for the blocks or staking. There is a $20 per stake repair fee.

NOTE: A 20x20’ tent does not fit in a 20x20’ space, allow room for the way you will secure it. Orlando Karting Center does have a water faucet to fill water barrels. These barrels must fit within YOUR pit space and not in the aisles or fire lanes. Please plan accordingly.

Include a team name and a list of the drivers (with classes) that will be pitting in the spot. NOTE: Please send your pit map when it is absolutely final. In the event that there are multiple teams in one pit area, a designated team manager/ representative must be named as the person responsible for tent and trailer placement. We will NOT park teams on site unless and until ALL trailers are present -- or unless the team manager is present (this is the only exception).
  • Teams that want to guarantee they are pitted next to or near each other MUST submit their pit request as ONE COMPLETE REQUEST to SKUSA together with a specific note on each section of the drawing, initialed by person submitting the request telling us that preference. NOTE: Following this process will allow us to achieve this goal, but may reduce the ability to fulfill specific locations due to size. If this is being requested by a sponsor, the sponsor must submit the request and be responsible for the entire pit invoice. We will do our best to accommodate.
  • Include on BOTH your drawing and the email message your contact name and best daytime contact info -- phone and email address (Mobile number, PLEASE! Not just shop number).
  • Please add a note to your pit request with your arrival date.
  • NOTE: NO passenger vehicles will be allowed in the pits, so please do not include them in your layout. Pit space is at a premium!
  • We will be in touch within 24-48 hours of your emailed request to confirm that each pit spot reservation submitted has been received. Then we will contact you and secure payment with you when we have you placed on the pit map.
  • Once you have been placed on the map, an invoice will be sent to your email via QuickBooks. Payments MUST be made prior to parking in the paddock.

  • RV spaces are strictly for camping only.
  • Campers who wish to be placed next to each other need to submit the request as one and define who is to be invoiced for the spaces. SKUSA will do their best to accommodate all requests.
  • An RV camping request needs to include a brief description of RV type and size.
  • A drawing showing doors, tip-outs and canopies is required.
  • Sleeping in Toy Haulers ONLY will be allowed in the pit rows for this event at a price of $100 per trailer (in addition to the pit spot price), so please add this note to your pit request.
  • All generators and other types of gas-powered devices operating in the pit and RV area must meet the SKUSA rule of a maximum of 72-decibel noise level at all times.
  • Each RV space is 20x45’

Trailer Storage

If you have a trailer that will be used for transporting karts and equipment only, and does not need to be parked inside of the pit area, there will be a $40 fee to store it in a secured outer lot of this facility. Please add that note to your pit spot request to give SKUSA advanced notice.

Pit Move In

Will begin on 3/5. Teams who have competed in any track related events or testing need to be prepared to move into their correct location by 8am on 3/5. NO EXCEPTIONS

Pit Move Out

Move out will begin Sunday night after the final checkered flag (approx. 5pm), and preferably after the final podium presentation (approx. 6pm). All trailers will need to be removed from the pits by 12:00 noon Monday, March 11th. Teams wishing to stay and test need to contact Orlando Karting Center to do so.

Final Note

Orlando Karting Center WILL monitor the paddock during the event and after. Teams are encouraged to police their pit and return it as received or fines will be imposed.
