Superkarts! USA SummerNationals Set to Cap Off 2019 Pro Tour

The 2019 edition of the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour will come to a thrilling close on the August 9-11 weekend at New Castle Motorsports Park with the 10th running of the SummerNationals. A challenging new track layout has been finalized for the season finale in Indiana, and the excitement is palpable heading into race week, with over 225 pre-entries having already been confirmed. The X30 Senior and X30 Junior class caps have been extended past 44-drivers to deal with the massive interest in the race, and with new entries continually being logged in all classes, the event is expected to top 250 drivers by the time racing goes green on the official Friday practice morning.

Those who have not yet entered, but still wish to take advantage of the pre-registration discount, should head immediately to MotorsportsReg.com to secure a spot on the grid. Pre-registration will close this Sunday, August 4 at 11:59 pm – until then racers can enter here.

Each and every Pro Tour championship battle remains close heading into the SummerNationals, with the leader less than 100 points from his challengers – so the battle for the #1 plates will very likely come down to the fight on Championship Sunday. Each title winner will be included in the 2020 SKUSA Circle of Champions, which will provide them with a sponsorship package for next year’s Pro Tour.

SKUSA is thrilled to have the support of the karting industry heading into the finale of their unparalleled 10th season of Pro Tour competition. Over the last 30 years, no other national series has enjoyed such a strong, consistent run of support and top-level competition. The following passionate industry members have pledged their continuing support to SKUSA’s efforts:

Pro Shifter – Croc Promotion USA/Mad Old Nut Racing
Pro Shifter 2 – Musgrave Racing Company
G1 – 3G Kart Racing
G2 – MG Tires
Micro Swift – Speed Concepts
Mini Swift – AiM Sports
X30 Junior – Rolison Performance Group
X30 Senior – PSL Karting
X30 Master – Chuck G Fabrication
X30 Super Master – Nash Motorsportz
KA100 Junior – Late Apex Kartworks
KA100 Senior – Crosslink Competition

In addition to the completion of this year’s Pro Tour at New Castle, SKUSA’s efforts are doubling down for this November’s SuperNationals 23. Priority Pre-Entry Program has already completed, and pre-registration is now open to all. A majority of the classes in this year’s line-up are already half full, and the Mini Swift class has already hit 75% capacity. With the class being capped at 44 entries, Mini Swift drivers wishing to compete in Las Vegas this year should act now to avoid missing out.

SKUSA is also excited with the recent announcement that Pro Shifter IAME 175 SSE will be positioned as the headline class at SuperNationals 23. To kick off the debut of the class format as a marquee addition to the SuperNationals, Pro 175 SSE will offer the same purse structure as the KZ format – plus an additional $10,000 USD bonus purse to any driver who is able to win both the KZ and Pro 175 SSE finals on SuperSunday. IAME USA West is offering an engine lease program for the event, with full support and backing from the IAME factory in Italy. IAME will be offering a fleet of 36 brand-new identically prepared 175 SSE engines to teams and drivers for the promotional price of just $1500 USD. The rental fee includes all basic engine accessories for operation. The engines are available – first come-first served – to any driver running in Pro Shifter, Pro Shifter 2, G1 or G2 categories. The 175 SSE rental units will have been broken in on the dyno in Italy by IAME’s head engineers. Racers simply need to bolt on the engines and go.

More information and the registration link for this year’s SuperNationals is available through the event’s web page.
