Moving Up in Age Classes
Recently an issue has been brought to our attention regarding moving up in age classes. Classes that are usually considered entry level, club or amateur classes are not considered as part of this rule. We may make a more fomal announcement at a future date.
Live Timing and Results
Live timing and results are only available in our own SKUSA App or it's sister app Race Hero. We are no longer using Race Monitor. Unlike Race Monitor, the results in the SKUSA App will be updated as penalities are assesed or reversed or otherwise clear tech. We understand there are currently some features missing from the live timing but we promise they are coming. Download links to the iOS and Android versions of the SKUSA App are to the left of this post.
Spark plug clarification
While we allow the use of indexing washers, head temperature sensors or stock spark washers the over all installed length of the plug may not exceed 18.5 mm.

A new era is underway at Superkarts! USA as the company begins the eighth season of their industry-leading SKUSA Pro Tour. Launched in 2010, the championship series has seen significant development and growth since the first laps were turned in Sonoma, California to kick-off the inaugural season. The positive storylines are abundant. Record numbers have continued over the past few seasons, and the introduction of the Evinco tire program has been well received. SKUSA continues to enjoy the solid ladder system in Stock Honda competition, and the excellent relationship with IAME has cemented the future of the SKUSA Pro Tour and the organization. The introduction of the WinterNationals – which are set for March 3-5 at the NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana – will begin a new structure for the SKUSA Pro Tour, and it will also mark the debut of a new Director of Competition position and the introduction of a video marshalling system for 2017.

NOLA Motorsports Park – site of the 2017 SKUSA Pro Tour WinterNationals
History will be made during the first weekend of March when Superkarts! USA hosts the inaugural running of the Pro Tour WinterNationals. The SKUSA Pro Tour has enjoyed an increasingly successful seven-year journey, growing and improving since its initial debut during the spring of 2010. The record growth and continued success of the championship series has laid the groundwork for further expansion, leading to the creation of the WinterNationals, which is set for NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 3-5. The 2017 edition of the Pro Tour will see an evolution to a six-round, three-event, 1-drop championship that will begin in a month’s time in one of America’s most vibrant cities.

Superkarts! USA is thrilled to announce an exciting new prize component that will be awarded to four of the champions of the 2017 SKUSA Pro Tour. In a partnership with IAME S.p.A. and IAME USA, SKUSA will provide the title winners in the X30 Senior, X30 Junior, X30 Master and Mini Swift classes with a support package to represent Superkarts! USA at this year’s IAME International Final in Le Mans, France on October. The champion’s prize package will include full entry into the event, including tented pit spot and an arrive-and-drive kart and engine set-up with a dedicated mechanic. The addition of this exciting opportunity will help to make the SKUSA Pro Tour an even more lucrative and prestigious series to run in 2017, as four talented drivers will run for SKUSA and their country at this major international event.
