There is the possibility of rain this weekend, but don’t fret! PKC races, rain or shine. With the right set up, racing in the rain can be a blast! It sure levels the playing field, as well, as racing in the wet is totally different and not something you can really practice for. Be sure to get your hands on a set of rain tires, and check out the PKC website for guidance on a rain setup. (PKC does not sell rain tires.)
Most important: we also wanted to remind everyone that PKC offers a Tough Guy Rain Bonus to give your championship run a boost! This is a bonus of 100 points offered to any and all drivers that complete at least one full lap of competition after the race has been declared a rain race by the Race Director.

As we have received enough interest in the S5 class to warrant it as a separate class for PKC So Cal in 2009, we have added it to the line-up and schedule, starting with the January CalSpeed race. All S5 racers – stock Honda w/ a SKUSA S5 restrictor – can now get pre-registered and come racing!
As we did not get enough interest in HPV2 Jr for So Cal, this class is not scheduled to run with PKC So Cal. However, it will be in the class line-up for PKC Nor Cal starting in March.

To help grow the TaG Junior program here in the So Cal PKC series, we are allowing Junior Rotax drivers the chance to come out and race with us. This is a regional change only. The Rotax drivers will run under RMC rules. Click HERE for more info.
