Busy Weekend on Tap for Karting in the United States |

The start of May means one thing, Spring is officially here and racing is underway across the United States. After what was a crazy month of April regarding weather, karters all around the country can venture out to the garage to spend the time working on their machines for the upcoming race. This weekend, a number of events are schedule to take place and racers still have time to get their karts ready for an exciting weekend at the race track.
California ProKart Challenge The third round of the SKUSA regional program is set for the historic Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside. After two record-breaking events to start out the year, another large turnout is expected this weekend as the series finishes out the first half of its season. Rumor is there will be a special guest entry in the TaG Master series, a familiar name not yet seen on the California coast. The series is set to begin its sophomore season with two rounds of racing at the popular Dallas Karting Complex in Caddo Mills, Texas. The entry list for this weekend continues to grow as the event draws closer (view at http://www.texasprokartchallenge.com). Sodi Kart USA along with MAXSpeed/GoRotax.com will be sponsoring a complimentary dinner following Friday’s final practice session. there Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge Racers are beginning to come together in the Rocky Mountain region, as the 2012 season saw a growth of racers take part in the SKUSA regional program. Things look positive once again for 2013, with more racers, tracks and shops planning to support the Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge. The opening two rounds of the year are set for the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah - site of the 2012 SKUSA Pro Tour SummerNationals. While some are battling blizzard conditions working through the mountains to arrive in the Salt Lake City area, the weather for the weekend is forecasted to be in the high 60’s and possible higher.
