|SKUSA Class and Technical Rule Changes for 2014|

As 2014 approaches, we are making the following changes to our class structures and rules. Please check our website periodically for other important updates.
TAG SENIOR AND TAG MASTERNew engines: None are to be added at this time. We are evaluating the IAME X30 to see how it will fit into our program with minimum disruption to our existing participants. We are considering how to integrate this engine and still preserve our current engines’ competitiveness. We will provide periodic updates of its status.
Current engines: We are removing the following engines from our TaG program, effective immediately:
Note that this does not affect any Rotax-only classes run in conjunction with a PKC or SKUSA event.While we are sure that these changes will not please everyone, it is felt that they are in the best interests of our program and our competitors at this time.
Timing plate: We have noticed some issues in allowing the stock steel base timing plate. Therefore, the use of the blue SKUSA plate is mandated effective February 1, 2014.
Exhaust systems: Only the SK-1 pipe will be allowed effective February 1, 2014.
