RACE ENTRY

Notice: All customers must create a new 2012 account/login on the new MWPKC Store.  Any passwords from last year won’t work.
 
Race pre-entries may be submitted at a “Pre-Entry price” discount through the Midwest ProKart Challenge ONLINE store. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  or call 219-841-1367 for assistance.  NOTE: If this is your first transaction through the online store, you have the option of clicking on the “Create New Account” link when prompted and complete the forms presented.  Then, for subsequent transactions, just enter the login ID and password you created to retrieve your stored entry profile.  SPECIAL NOTE: Login ID and password cannot contain blank spaces.
 
Pre-Entry – Enter Before the Cut-Off and Save!
The definition of a “PRE-ENTRY” is an entry received, with payment, at the Midwest ProKart Challenge office before midnight on the Monday prior to the event, and will qualify for the pre-entry pricing.  Entries after this cut-off will have to be submitted at the event (starting Friday morning) at walk-up pricing.  See pricing below.  All race pre-entries will be confirmed via email within 1 to 2 business days of receipt at the MWPKC/SKUSA home office.  If you do not receive an email confirmation within 48 hours, please call 219-841-1367 to confirm that your entry has been received and is in process.
 
Pre-Entry for this event closes at Midnight on Monday, August 13th.  Anyone wanting to register for the race or Friday's practice after that time will have to sign-up at the track on Friday starting at 7:00am or Saturday starting at 6:30am. 
 
Entry Fees
(NOTE: See the Online store for new simple pre-race registration, pit passes and tire purchases.) 
 
ALL SKUSA Sanctioned CLASSES require the driver to be an active SKUSA Member in good standings. (SKUSA membership is required for race days.) SKUSA Membership is NOT required for Open Shifter and Local Option classes (Should an LO class exist).

  • Friday -- Official Practice Day $45 Practice will be hosted by New Castle Motorsports Park (Contact the track at 765-987-8090 for times and additional practice related information)
  • ALL entry fees include both Saturday and Sunday (two separate) race days and the driver’s pit pass.
    • $170 Pre-Entry Race Fees for 1st Class - $120 for 2nd Class
    • $120 Pre-Entry Race Fee for Open Shifter
    • $120 Local Option Yamaha Senior and Masters (ran together, scored separately)
    • $200 Post-Entry / At Track Race Fees for 1st Class - $150 for 2nd Class
    • $150 Post-Entry / At Track Race Fees for Open Shifter and Local Option (Should an LO class exist)
  • $20 Transponder Rental (If you don't have your own)
  • $212+tax per set MG-SK WHITE practice or stamped race tires (for all classes including Open Shifter, with the exception of TaG Cadet). (See Tire Note Below)
  • $203+tax per set MG-HZ RED practice or stamped race tires for TaG Cadet.  (See Tire Note Below)
  • Spectator Pit Passes: $10 -1 day, $15 for 2 days , $20 for 3 days 
  • $75 SKUSA Annual Membership (Must be current member to race in SKUSA sanctioned classes.  Open Shifter and Local Option excluded.)

Note: Competition tires MUST be stamped and purchased from the MWPKC director.  These tires may be re-used from event to event.  All tires can be picked up at the track (no shipping fee) or shipped ahead of time for $10 Shipping and Handling (within IN) or $15 (outside IN).  Note: Race Tires MUST have the special PKC stamp to pass tech.

Overnight Parking and Camping

Camper spots are available for $25.00 per day with electrical hookups. Showers are also available on site. Contact the track at 765-987-8090 for pricing to reserve an RV camping space.

Reserved Pit Spaces

Contact the track at 765-987-8090 to reserve your pit space. Reserved spaces are $35, but adequate free spaces will be available.   
  • Pit space move-in may start on Thursday afternoon 3pm-9pm.

Note: (1) When warranted, host facility will split the Friday practice sessions into TaG, Shifter, local option and Junior groupings with the goal of practice sessions by class when participation dictates.

Practice Rules

  • Airboxes MANDATORY for all Two Cycles and Shifters
  • Snell 2005 or better helmet, abrasion resistant jacket or suit, neckcollar and gloves are mandatory at all times
  • Junior Drivers ages 5-12 must use an SFI Approved Ribvest at all times while on-track

*All MINORS must have MINOR RELEASE on file and signed by Parent/Legal Guardian before they can be allowed to practice or race. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Form Available at Track) Make sure you take care of this ahead of time!
