Race Numbers

Although PKC/SKUSA is making number panel color requirements mandatory in the SoCal region starting with the PKC 2008 season, the NorCal racers will be granted a grace period to 2009 for this requirement. If you race in the SoCal region, please see that site for the number panel color requirements.

You can only reserve/guarantee a race number with PKC if you have an active SKUSA membership. The only number that can be reserved/guaranteed for PKC events is the number found on your SKUSA membership card -- INCLUDING the area letter designator. If you race without the area letter designator, you will be exposed to a conflict on track and the possibility of having to change your number at each event.

Single Digit Numbers
For our NorCal racers, we will not have a restriction on running single-digit race numbers for the 2008 season. However, if you also race in other PKC regions, you may run across a restriction with 2007 champions that have earned a single digit race number for the 2008 season.

PKC recommends that you call the office prior to choosing a race number, so that the database can be checked for your primary preferences. Also, if you have raced with PKC in the past and are moving to a different class or wish to change your reserved number from 2007, contact the PKC business office to reserve a new number: 951-491-0808.
