Points are calculated based on your finishes in the Heats and Main. There are also bonus points for Pole and the fastest lap during the Main. You are allowed to drop 1 race of the 6 race series (best of 5 scores). However, a number of Grand Prizes to be given away at the PKC season-ending banquet will only be available to drivers who completed all 6 races of the season. SKUSA expire date column notes:
- If the SKUSA expire date is highlighted YELLOW it is within 45 days of lapsing.
- If the SKUSA expire date is highlighted PINK it has lapsed but it is within the allowed 45 day grace renewal period to renew your membership without losing your ability to earn points.
- If the SKUSA expire date is highlighted RED it has expired and you have lost your ability to earn points.
- SKUSA allows points to be earned ONLY with a current membership or within the allowed 45 day grace renewal period. Points CANNOT be earned with an expired membership (ie: any points earned while your membership is expired do not count).
- SKUSA is allowing any points earned at the first race at Infineon 4/12 to count towards the championship due to waiving note #4 for Infineon 4/12 only.
