Track Map

SummerNats Track Map

This .88-mile track will be run thru the streets of downtown Modesto in the clockwise direction between I street and K street, and 10th Street and 13th Street, with 2 chicanes (on 13th Street and I Street). Start/Finish is on I Street, and entrance to the track is on K Street.

Venue Map

This event will be a city-wide festival in downtown Modesto, with the kart track as the central focus. Various activities, vendors and concessions will be involved. More information is available on the city’s website here:

Event Schedule

This karting event is a double-race weekend, a nighttime AND street race! A tentative event schedule has been posted here. Friday is the only practice day for this event. Saturday is Round 3 of the Pro Tour and a complete race day. Sunday is Round 4 of the Pro Tour, another complete race day. All podium presentations will take place on Sunday evening after the last main event. There will be strict enforcement regarding nighttime pit curfews and the move-out schedule. A final version of the Event Schedule will be given out at the track.

Fire Regulations

This event requires strict fire regulations to be followed by everyone in attendance. Please review the rules posted here, especially the requirement of fire extinguishers in every pit spot AND the rule that NO fuel is allowed to be brought in. All fuel will need to be pre-ordered by July 27th from SKUSA to guarantee supplies on site.

SummerNats Fire Regulations

Motorized and Non-Motorized Vehicles Prohibited

Due to the tight quarters of the pits and the large attendance expected at this event, there are NO motorized or non-motorized vehicles allowed in the pits (other than SKUSA staff and emergency vehicles). Do not bring golf karts, bikes, scooters, razors or skateboards. Handicapped guests and excluded from this rule, but will be required to show proper ID and a handicapped placard to receive a pass at the SKUSA Registration desk for their handicapped vehicle. Engine builders will be allowed to use a bicycle at this event, but must receive a pass for it at the SKUSA Registration desk.

Reserved Pit Spots 

Everyone needs to pay for pit spots at this event, and preferably RESERVE ahead of time to guarantee a spot. All info is posted here, including sponsor info, the LIVE FEED program, and tent rental information. Any pit requests sent in via email by Friday, July 25th will be processed and assigned by Monday, July 28th. After this date, pit parking and payment will be handled at the track.

Overnight Camping

Neither RVs nor Overnight Camping of any kind will be allowed at this event, due to security concerns and space restrictions. More details -- and many hotels in the area to choose from – are posted here.

Rental Tents – Exclusive Vendor

An exclusive Tent Rental vendor has been contracted with by SKUSA to offer the best pricing, as well as to make sure that insurance requirements are met, for this event. Go to the Pit Spot Reservations page posted above for the specifics. NOTE: Tents are NOT to be staked into the asphalt. The Tent Rental company has barrels and blocks available for rent.

Catering/Food Concessions

A variety of restaurants in Modesto are local to our event, and many are willing to provide catering services for our teams. Click HERE for their info. SKUSA will be controlling the deliveries of food/drinks/supplies during this event. See the SKUSA Registration personnel for assistance on site.

The DoubleTree Hotel is one of the restaurants/hotels offering CATERING services for drivers and teams. They will also be offering a conveniently located FOOD CONCESSION stand in the Centre Plaza throughout the weekend. Click here for DoubleTree’s Catering/Concessions Pricing. Contact Lorraine Guevara: 209-525-3039, for info and to place your catering orders (they prefer at least 48 hours’ notice, and also have buffet-style trays of hot and cold food to order).

Air Boxes for Honda Engines – Not Required

For the classes of S1, S2 and S4, the silencer is open spec and air boxes are optional at this event. All other classes (S5 and TaG) require an airbox as part of their Technical Specifications.

Pets On Premises

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and kept close to your pit area. No pets are allowed in the Hot Pit lane. Clean up after your pet. SKUSA is not responsible for the actions of pets, and reserves the right to eject any owners and pets that are not acting in a responsible and safe manner.
