Directions: NCMP is 45 Minutes East of Downtown Indianapolis on I-70 and State Road 3. Take I-70 to exit 123 (New Castle), turn South onto SR3 and go 1/4 Mile South of the Flying J. Turn Left onto new gravel road and follow it 1/4 mile to NCMP gate.
First-time attendees will be impressed with this track and its facilities!
Pit Spots are all 10’ wide by 50’, 40’ or 20’ deep, and must be reserved & pre-paid by July 19th to guarantee availability/positioning for this event. They will be at a cost of $.30/SF for the first 8 rows and $.20/SF for the last 3 rows. Greenfield Tent Rental is the exclusive tent rental company for this event. Rental tents are approx. $.60/SF for the canopies and approx. $1.00/LF for walls – and all pit layouts must accommodate an additional 5 feet around rental tents for the stakes. Camping will be allowed for this event, but please note that there are NO electrical hookups available. Due to the tight quarters of the pits and the large attendance expected at this event, there are NO motorized or non-motorized vehicles allowed in the pits (other than SKUSA staff and emergency vehicles). Do not bring golf karts, bikes, scooters, razors or skateboards. RULE EXCEPTIONS: Handicapped attendees are excluded from this rule, but will be required to show proper ID and an official handicapped placard to receive a pass at the SKUSA Registration desk for their handicapped vehicle. Engine builders will be allowed to use a bicycle at this event, but must receive a pass for it at the SKUSA Registration desk.

Practice Prior to the SummerNationals
SKUSA allows Pro Tour participants to practice and race prior to the Summernats for the full experience of racing this track and our configuration, including the WKA Manufactures Cup event the weekend prior to the SummerNats. Click HERE for the WKA Manufactures Cup Schedule. NCMP will also hold open practice on Thursday afternoon, July 23rd. Additionally, a special charity event, the annual Race for Riley (Children’s Hospital), will be held on Tuesday July 21st. ALL proceeds from this event are donated to the Riley’s Hospital for Children. The track configuration will use all but one turn of the SummerNationals configuration. SKUSA encourages any racer who is staying for the week to participate in this special event. See the NCMP website for all info about this event and Thursday’s practice. Click HERE for Race for Riley info. Due to the set-up of the track for TV filming, there will be no on-track activity on Wednesday, July 22nd.
NCMP will have a food concession stand on site, serving breakfast and lunch all 3 days of this event (Fri thru Sun). Outside catering companies will NOT be allowed at this event. However, teams are urged to inquire as to the catering services offered by the facility. The staff at NCMP is more than capable of accommodating team catering needs. The New Castle team can provide anything from hot dogs and chips to prime rib. Call Donna at 317-462-3413 for advanced orders.
Air Boxes for Honda Engines – Not Required
For the classes of S1, S2 and S4, the silencer is open spec and air boxes are optional at this event. All other classes (S5 and TaG) require an airbox as part of their Technical Specifications.
Pets On Premises
Pets are allowed at this event, but must be kept on a leash at all times and kept close to your pit or camping area. No pets are allowed in the Hot Pit lane or in Tech. Clean up after your pet! SKUSA is not responsible for the actions of pets, and reserves the right to eject any owners and pets that are not acting in a responsible and safe manner.
