SKUSA Pro Tour

2023 UMC Pit Spot Reservations
As always, the toughest part for the SKUSA staff in organizing large events each year is laying out and fitting everyone into the pits!

This year is no different, as our SpringNationals event at Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, UT will likely see the largest participation yet for a Pro Tour weekend! ALL RACERS or TEAM OWNERS can do their part now by reserving the space they will need (as well as encouraging all drivers to get pre-registered for the event – before their classes cap out at 44).

Due to the size of this event and the unique variety of pit spot dimensions available, you will need to be exact in your pit request. On-site camping in Toy Haulers and RVs is also available until sold out.

SKUSA has no option but to round up to the next space for those who have irregular space requests.

If you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit and/or camping spot, please email a complete drawing (as a PDF - no phone pictures, please) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ASAP. Please put the name of the team or renter in the email subject line.

Emailed pit requests will be replied to with a confirmation upon receipt.

NOTE: The event sponsors will receive priority pit spot placement, so be sure to note on your pit request if you are a sponsor, or if you’d like information on becoming one.

SPECIAL NOTE: DUE TO ANOTHER EVENT OCCURING THE SAME WEEKEND,
THERE ARE NO DAY GARAGES AVAILABLE FOR RENT AT THIS TIME.

What to include on your emailed Pit and/or Camping/RV request and what to include on your PDF drawing:

  • Full layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. You will likely NOT be able to add space when you arrive.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers, E-Z ups, VIP area, etc.
  • Include space for trailer tongue, doors, tip outs, exhaust pipes, generators and canopies.
  • Assume that three sides of your pit is a solid brick wall and the forth side is the fire lane.
  • Based on the Pit Map at the link above, please give us your top 3 PREFERENCES for your location of a pit/camping spot.
  • Include a team name and a list of the drivers that will be pitting/camping in the spot. NOTE: You can send your pit map when it is absolutely final; however, all drivers MUST be registered for the race before SKUSA will confirm your pit spot location.
  • In the event that there are multiple teams in one pit area, a designated team manager/ representative must be named as the person responsible for tent and trailer placement. We will NOT park teams on site unless a designated team manager is present or until ALL trailers are present.
  • Teams that want to be pitted next to or near each other MUST submit their pit request to SKUSA as one complete request and define one person as to whom the invoice is to be sent. Otherwise, written requests to be near someone else will be noted but not guaranteed.
  • Include your contact name, email and best daytime phone number on your drawing.
  • Tell us whether or not you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both. See below for vendor info.
    • NOTE: a 20x20’ tent does not fit in a 20x20’ space, leave room for water barrels or cement blocks! NO STAKING!
  • We will be in touch to confirm each pit reservation correctly submitted via email, and will email a complete invoice for pre-payment when we have you placed on the pit map.
