This .8-mile track will be run BACKWARDS (Clockwise) WITH the chicane for this event, as well as for the Texas ProKart Challenge to be held the weekend prior.
Reserved Pit Spots & Overnight Camping
Pit Spots must be reserved & pre-paid to guarantee availability/positioning for this event, and will be at a cost of $.30/SF. Overnight Camping will be allowed, but will also need to be reserved/paid for ahead of time as follows: $50/vehicle if parked inside of your pit spot (i.e., toy haulers); $75 for RVs parked in the designated RV area (no RVs will be allowed in the general pit area). A pit map and directions on how to reserve pit & camping spots for this event are posted here. Plans are still in the making, but rest assured knowing that the folks at DKC will have everything arranged to guarantee a satisfying event with ample food and drinks available throughout! Call them after April 1 and inquire about the options for catering for your team.
Practice Prior to the SpringNationals
SKUSA encourages Pro Tour participants to race at the Texas ProKart Challenge event at DKC the weekend prior to the Springnats for the full experience of racing this track and our configuration. DKC will also hold open practice days on Monday, April 28th and Tuesday, April 29th, prior to our move-in on Wednesday, April 30th. Call the track for exact hours and any other rules/restrictions.
Air Boxes for Honda Engines – Not Required
For the classes of S1, S2 and S4, the silencer is open spec and air boxes are optional at this event. All other classes (S5 and TaG) require an airbox as part of their Technical Specifications.
