RACE ID LABEL DESCRIPTION
Race ID labels are to be applied in the locations shown on the SKUSA sticker policy diagram. Click here to view the 2006 version of the sticker diagram as an example only. The in-force 2007 version will be included in your registration package. Be sure to clean the area on your number panel thoroughly with contact cleaner before applying Race ID labels so that they do not come off during the event.
All Classes Except TaG Senior and SuperPro
- Class/Weight label – Comes in registration package. Aids pre-grid and scales personnel to ensure you are in the right practice and race groups and that the proper weight requirement is applied. Remains in position throughout the event.
- “H1….20” Heat Grid Position Labels – Comes in two colors; one for pole side and one for off-pole side. Distributed by the Transponder Desk on Friday morning. Must remain on kart for all three heats. Minimizes pre-grid and track grid staging time.Â
- “M1….20” Main Grid Position Labels – Replaces Heat Grid Position Label on Sunday morning. Comes in two colors; one for pole side and one for off-pole side. Distributed by the Transponder Desk Sunday morning. Must be on the kart for the main events on Sunday. – Minimizes pre-grid and track grid staging time
TaG Senior and SuperPro
- Class/Weight label – Comes in registration package. Aids pre-grid and scales personnel to ensure that the proper weight requirement is applied.
- “P1” and “P2” Practice Group Labels – Comes in registration package. Aids pre-grid personnel to ensure you are in the right practice group for Thursday’s practice sessions.
- “Q1” and “Q2” Qualifying Group Labels – Replaces the Practice Group Label on Thursday morning. Distributed by the Transponder Desk on Thursday morning. Aids pre-grid personnel to ensure you are in the right qualifying group for Thursday’s qualifying sessions and for warm-up sessions Thursday through Saturday.
- “A1….20”, “B1…20”, “C1…20”, D1….20” Heat Grid Position Labels – In each heat, the alphabetically higher letter (”A” higher than “B”, “B” higher than “C”, etc.) is on the pole side and the lower letter on the off-pole side. Distributed by the Transponder Desk on Friday morning. Must remain on kart for all three elimination heats. Minimizes pre-grid and track grid staging time.
- “M1….20” Main Grid Position Labels – Replaces Heat Grid Position Label on Sunday morning. Comes in two colors; one for pole side and one for off-pole side. Distributed by the Transponder Desk at the end of the day on Saturday. Must be on the kart for the main events on Sunday. – Minimizes pre-grid and track grid staging time.
