Practice, Qualifying and Racing Format 

All Classes Except SuperPro and TaG Senior
  • Practice - sessions by class
  • Qualifying - sessions by class
  • Heats
    • Starting grid positions based on original qualifying time for all heats
    • Heat scoring 0pts-1st, 2pts-2nd, 3pts-3rd, 4pts-4th and so on
  • Main - Grid by aggregate heat points (tie breaks by original qualifying time)
SuperPro and TaG Senior 
  • Practice - Entries separated into P1 and P2 practice groups at registration. These groups will be valid throughout Wednesday’s practice sessions.
  • Qualifying
    • Based on times from the last practice session on Wednesday, the fast half of the field will be reassigned to the Q1 qualifying group and the balance of the field to the Q2 qualifying group.
    • In addition to qualifying, these groupings will be utilized in warmups for Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings.
  • Heats
    • After qualifying, the entire field will be broken into 4 flights.  Top qualifier on pole in A, 2nd qualifier on pole in B, 3rd qualifier on pole in C, 4th qualifier on pole in D, 5th qualifier off pole in A, 6th qualifier off pole in B and so on.
    • Flights A vs B, C vs D, A vs C, B vs D, A vs D, B vs C
    • Flight assignments remain the same for all heats.
    • Starting grid positions are based on original qualifying time for all heats.
    • Heat scoring 0pts-1st, 2pts-2nd, 3pts-3rd, 4pts-4th and so on.
    • Top 30 (low to high aggregate flight heat points - tie breaks by original qualifying time) transfer directly to the main.
  • LCQ Semi (optional if 70 or less total class entries)
    • Balance of the field split by aggregate flight heat points with the faster half going directly into the LCQ Final and the slower half going into the LCQ Semi (tie breaks by original qualifying time).
    • Grid by aggregate flight heat points, low to high (tie breaks by original qualifying time).
    • Top five transfer to rear of LCQ Final grid in LCQ Semi finishing order.
  • LCQ Final
    • Grid by aggregate flight heat points, low to high (tie breaks by original qualifying time).
    • Top 10 transfer to the rear of the main grid in LCQ Final finishing order.
  • Main - Grid by aggregate flight heat points (tie breaks by original qualifying time).
